We, Ghibli Inc. are a company that aims to coexist with nature and bring the life of the ocean to consumers in the best possible way to protect the beautiful image of fishing communities 100 years from now.
We want to protect the ocean and show thanks to nature’s blessings by focusing on the “Sendan-Maru” sixth-sector industrialization project for the fishing industry.
What began on a small island in the Sea of Japan has now spread across Japan in 7 places: the “Sendan-Maru Method” from Hagi, Hagi-Oshima Island in Yamaguchi prefecture.
The company name “GHIBLI” comes from the Italian word meaning: “hot, desert wind blowing from the Sahara across the Mediterranean Sea.”
After our namesake, we are working on various sea-related projects with the same heated passion of this desert wind.
